Outside my window...The sun is shining after a weekend full of snowstorms. It's cold too! It was 21 degrees when I took Keaton to school this morning. It has warmed up a bit because I went out and shoveled a little bit more for Asia to have a place to go potty and the ice came up pretty easily since this morning when Cory shoveled.
I am thinking...about so many things that I can't seem to focus on one thing today.
I am thankful... Cory and Jacek watched the Oscars with me last night. It was nice of them to humor me through all four hours of it.
From the kitchen... I am eating leftover Chinese food from Saturday night~thanks to Grandpa for treating. Jacek just walked in and is eating leftover waffle with peanut butter. Breakfast tacos are on the menu for tonight. Heaven only knows what else I'll whip up this week. We do have leftover French Dip that I just now remembered. I like the meat in Spaghetti Sauce too, so maybe that will happen later this week.
I am wearing...my pink sweatpants and pajama top and blue snowflake robe. I'm a slacker this morning. UPDATE: I showered and got dressed in my jeans, black/grey striped turtleneck and red cardigan Cory's mom gave me eons ago. I spritzed my hair with water and pulled it up into a messy ponytail. I also put on my new favorite collection of rings. Two of them I inherited from my mom and then my anniversary band to keep them on because the other two are a little too big.
I am creating...and catching up on my Project 365. I am printing some photos today and getting them in the album.
I am going...to be in Maui in 31 more days. Squeal!!!!
I am reading..."Beautiful Girl" for book club this month. I like the story but haven't moved very fast through it.
I am hoping...my puppy is okay. She has had diarrahea since late Saturday night. This morning she threw up. I'm a little concerned, but she acts okay. I mixed a little bit of pumpkin puree in a little bit of her wet food this morning. It's suppose to bind her bowel movements. I'm hoping so!
I am hearing... Les Miserables soundtrack on my iPhone plugged into Keaton's iHome. I have been obsessed with the reunion of this old friend of mine from 20+ years ago since I saw the movie in December. After watching the Oscar's last night and their wonderful ensemble, I had to listen to it this morning.
Around the house...I washed a lot of laundry and remade the beds yesterday and today. Had a lot of dirty dishes from yesterday too that I'm still trying to catch up on. We had Hank and Kathy Moore come over for breakfast and to pick my Dad up from the weekend. Waffles + Bacon + Asparagus and Tomato Eggs = Lots of Dirty Dishes but Lovely Memories. I have also been cleaning spots on the carpet from puke and poop from Asia. YUCKY!!!
One of my favorite things...I tend to fall in love with people through their blogs. I have discovered my new favorite blogger Natalie Holbrook. I somehow became a follower on her instagram and then I fell in love with her the other day when she posted her nursing story on her blog. Then I loved her even more when I discovered she had to work really, really hard to have her beautiful baby boy Huck. I get attached to people who have similar stories as mine. She inspires me and I have gone back in time to the beginning of her blog some 7 or 8 years ago and started from the beginning.
A few plans for the rest of the week...Today Keaton has piano at 5:30 and Jacek has Guitar at 4:00 then Lacrosse practice from 5-7. Tomorrow Asia has a haircut, if she's feeling better and I have yoga from 1-230. Keaton has basketball practice at Westminster from 6-7:30 and Jacek has Lacrosse. Wednesday Jacek has piano at 4:00 then Lacrosse and no basketball practice, but we could go to the last Westminster home game at 7:00. Scratch that! I have yoga at 7:15-8:30. Lunch with my friend Stacey Smith before she has her baby Griffin on Thursday and then tutor for Keaton with Mrs. Nichols after school. Jacek has Lacrosse practice and then churchball at 7:00. Keaton has a game at the same time 7:00 p.m. Kaylee and Lacey are planning to stay over night at our house on Friday after the Jazz game. Typical week for us, I guess; whatever typical is anymore! :)
