This was Keaton's first indoor soccer experience and he loved it. I really liked watching it too. It was quick and hard and only 30 minutes. Keaton did a great job being goalie. He and Martin shared that position and it was good for him. On Saturday, Keaton told Cory that he really gets where he needs to be when he's goalie. He was very observant and aware of what he needs to do.
The game gets a little crazy at times as clusters happen and there is lots of movement.
I had to get a photo of the wall they used to separate the games.
The team was mostly made up of the outdoor soccer/basketball team- James, Ben, Josh, Keaton, Eli, Conner, Martin and then Caleb from Keaton's 2nd grade class. It was a fun group and they only lost once, the last game and by only one goal. We also tied with that same team one other game and then won all the others. They did fantastic. Jon coached mostly with a little help from Rick on one game.
I loved the intensity on all three of their faces in this last picture.
