Three years ago, I took an online course from a scrapbooker named Shimelle called Learn Something New Every Day. I am going to do it again this year and I'm going to complete it this time around. Just making myself accountable on my blog.
Beautiful morning for our first soccer game of the season. Keaton was fired up and awake at 6:00 a.m. They played well together and dominated most of the game. Keaton almost made a goal, but the twins Ben and Josh each made one for a 2-1 victory.
The 7 kids got to play a lot today because Charlie didn't show up. Keaton would play the entire time cuz he loves it so much. Coach Rick is a great guy and the kids love him. We have a new boy Hayden our the team this season and he's sitting next to Keaton in this photo.
I really like our new field for this season. Every year they put us somewhere new and it seems to never be convenient to drive to any of the fields from our house. Keaton is still playing up on a U9 team. He'll be an awesome player when he gets to play with kids his own age.
After game snacks are still a big hit with the kids. Today they got to choose a bar and a Gatorade. Keaton rarely gets Gatorade, so he was excited.
I want to remember that I reminded you the night before that I would be taking your picture on the first day of school so you could prepare yourself. I want to remember that you put up with me for about 10 photos and then we headed off at 7:10 so you could drive to school.
I would like to forget how busy the streets were that early in the morning. 38th South was bumper to bumper cars and you made it to school with only a few minutes to spare.
I want to remember how disgusted you were that I was going to take your picture as you walked into the school.
But I'm really glad I took them anyway because they are two of my favorite photos of the day.
I want to remember that you had to read "A Separate Peace" this summer for Honors English. You are kind of excited about English and your teacher Mrs. T. Your other favorite class is going to be Fitness For Life.
