group huddle
Had a great time in Las Vegas this past week. The team played really well winning 2 out of 4 games. I too this photo on our way to the all-you-can-eat buffet at Harrah's. The boys were being goofy and since the pressure was off, they could relax and enjoy themselves.

two more cool photoshop lessons

after: this technique is called selective/spot recoloring. i have wanted to learn how to do this for a very long time. very tickled to finally know how.

after: a technique called edge burning where you darkened the outer part of the photo, but brighten up the middle. it's subtle, but look how much darker the green ivy is in the second photo.

photoshop weekend
I am in love with knowing how to finally work Photoshop. I spent all day Saturday and today playing around with different techniques. Cory sat down with me for a few minutes the other day to help me understand the layout of the program and now I'm a Photoshop junkie. It's like a whole new world has opened up for me. I might have to enroll in PA (photoshop anonymous) as I think I'm addicted. :)

more cousin love
My sister-in-law Raquel stayed with us a couple of weeks ago and brought the four kids. Ms. Hannah apparently had such a good time with her cousin Keaton that she cried all the way home because she missed him so much. They definitely bonded on this trip. Come to think about it, he was equally enamored with her when she was a baby. (See yesterday's post)
I call it "cousin love".

flashback friday: cousin love
Baby Hannah is going to be 3 years old in a couple of days, but she's really not a baby anymore. We still call her that though, mostly because of Keaton. He was obsessed with her forever. He loved to sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star or the ABC song to her. And if he saw baby girl things at the store, he would say, "Let's buy that for Baby Hannah." He found her some cute little yellow sunglasses in Hawaii, so we had to buy them for her. Check them out! She was the coolest baby on the island.

I looked up in time to barely snap this photo of my computer. After cleaning up the main level, dishes, laundry and taking Asia out I went to the computer. This is where I was at 10:11:12 on 07.08.09. I was watching a video on photo editing.
I took a picture of my clock too. It's really fast-like 10 minutes fast!
