Here are a few of my favorite photos from Cenzlie's shoot in Vernal last weekend. I can't believe this beautiful girl is graduating from high school. It seems like yesterday that she was just a wee babe.
I loved almost all of the ones I took of her on the grass. It must have been the perfect lighting at that angle. Plus she was a little more relaxed by this point in the shoot. She is seriously gorgeous in all of those photos.
I loved how her expressions could change almost instantly from a funny goofy girl to a serious deep thinker.
And these next shots remind me how much she look like her mom!
And then there are the more artsy detail-oriented shots that I just love!
And then there were a few "blurry" ones that, even though not technically "perfect", are some of my favorites too! I'm a big fan of the perfect blurry photo.
Congratulations on graduating from high school Cenzlie! Have a fun and safe trip to Paris next week! Eat a croissant for me! ;)
Outside my Window...my friend Darlene will love today's weather forecast as it's supposed to be 90 degrees. Too warm for me!
I am thinking...it's been a long time since I posted a monday musings.
I am thankful...for life!
I am going...to the grocery store today. I have stalled all week long.
From the kitchen this week...pork chops w/potatoes, tacos, spaghetti and maybe some enchiladas.
I am wearing...black adidas w/yellow stripe crop sweats and yellow jacket.
I am reading...It's Just My Nature by Carol Tuttle
I am hoping...Jacek's high school team wins their game tonight or we are out of the Spring Fling Tournament.
I am creating...thank you gifts for Keaton's school teacher, secretaries and librarian.
I am hearing...Keaton is watching cartoons and the birds are chirping LOUDLY!
Around the house...I need to change the sheets this week. I've kept up on the laundry and I even cleaned out the fridge a little bit over the weekend.
One of my favorite things...my new Keurig one cup coffee/hot chocolate/tea maker. We all love it, even the boys. I love that I can make one cup of coffee and there's no mess.
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...Keaton has soccer practice today and Jacek has an 8:00 basketball game. I am going to lunch with our family friend Pat Baucum and her DIL Susan and then I have a mammogram right after that. If Skyline wins tonight, then Jacek will have a game tomorrow night. Then Wednesday, he has a Pump N Run game and hopeful two more games on Thursday. Jacek is suppose to go to an awards assembly Wednesday night, but I don't think it's going to happen. No school on Friday and then a four day weekend. Wahoo! My brother DR and his wife Raquel should be bringing their new little girl into the world sometime this week too.
A picture thought I would like to share
Keaton and Eli running through the sprinklers yesterday.
Happy Mother's Day To The Two Most Beautiful Mother's In My Life
To my mother, who birthed and raised me and gave me the security and unconditional love that most children never have the opportunity to experience-
I love you!
I aspire to be more like you every day!
To my mother-in-law, who birthed and raised my husband and gave him the security and unconditional love that most children never have the opportunity to experience-
I love you!
I aspire to be more like you every day too!
Both of you are two of the strongest and most independent women I know. Your strengths and talents are countless and your influence will be felt throughout many many generations. My children, your grandchildren, know you and love you fiercely. They are so lucky to have you as an integral part of their lives. Because of you and your legacy as their grandmothers, I have no doubt that they will become better human beings.
Please note that even though you think you were (are) not the perfect mother and grandmother-
You Were (Are) The Perfect Mother and Grandmother For Us!
