On our way out of Cedar City last weekend, Jacek wanted to buy a souvenir at the Shakespeare gift shop. He wanted a knife or a dagger of some kind and he wanted Cory's approval on his purchase. So, Keaton and I parked the car and went to look at the water fountains they have on the Southern Utah University campus.
Keaton was having a great time dipping his hands in the water and watching the fountains spray their mist.
Down he goes!!! Right into the water. I saw the whole thing coming, but I was not close enough to him. At first, the people that were gathered around the fountains were very concerned about him. They were scrambling to get to him. I was right there and pulled him out, but as soon as I got him out of the water, I started laughing and so did the other people. WELL....Keaton saw nothing funny about it. He was ticked! Then he started crying because he thought the people were laughing at him. I felt bad about laughing, but it was really comical. It was like a slow-motion film and I just couldn't react fast enough. Surreal!
Luckily, he had on his swimming suit with a t-shirt, so it wasn't too bad. In these last two pictures, I can see the shock of the whole incident in his demeanor. He was mad, sad, cold and his little ego bruised a bit.
